Having an optimistic attitude when going about your daily life, will take you far without a shadow of a doubt in my eyes. The good thing about living life with an optimistic outlook is that, over a period of time, you are embedding natural and positive thoughts into your mind which in turn, will produce a healthy mind-set no matter what situation occurs.

If you’ve been conditioned to view life in a pessimistic point of view, it’s never too late to Read More→

This is part 5 of a 7 part series that was inspired by my previous article, 7 Reasons Why We Give Up On Our Goals. If you haven’t read that article, you may want to do so by clicking here. This article will give you an overview of this series.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. – Luke 6:45 KJV

A wise man once said: “An idle mind is the devils workshop.” I believe this is true. I always say if you don’t fill your mind, then the devil will fill it for you. The enemy will try to convince you that you’re not good enough or that you’re not physically able to do something. He’ll even try to Read More→

There comes a time in this walk of life when we are faced with trials and we have to rely solely on our faith in God. It’s one thing to know what the word of God tells you but what do you do when you’re faced with a scary situation.

Sometimes when trials comes, it’s so easy to focus on the negative aspects of the situation that we neglect to stand firm on the word of God. When faced with a difficult trial its easy to feel like you’re alone. It may seem as if all the people who were there before have gone and left you. Remember, the more you focus on what’s going wrong in your life, the Read More→

You have the choice of whether you dwell on the positive or negative in your life. I believe that if you focus on fear and failure then you will bring more of that into your life.

Timothy 1:7 tells us that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.”

We should boldly encourage ourselves and focus on things that are positive to us. One way to change negative thoughts is: for the next two or Read More→

Developing a different approach to how you view your situations will bring about a different outlook on life overall. If you view everything from a place of negativity and doubt, then you’ll have trouble experiencing the true victory that God has for you.

Viewing everything in a negative mindset is a bad habit that will take away your joy and peace. It’s like wearing a pair of eyeglasses that are filtered to make everything appear as though the glass is half empty. Read More→

Most of the struggles we face in life can be eliminated by changing our thoughts. When something gets the best of you it’s because you allow it to take control over your life.

Our thoughts are directly tied to our emotions so when we’re upset, sad, tired or discouraged, we don’t think as clearly as we do when our emotions are in a neutral state.

If you get discouraged about something, it’s often harder than normal to come to your senses because the weight of the discouragement is over powering your ability to rationalize.

Therefore, often times our worst mistakes are made when we’re weighing our decisions based on our emotions and not our logic. It’s very easy to give up on our dreams because we get discouraged due to lack of progress and growth.

Many times the discouragement stems from us getting impatient and not putting our faith in God.
You may find yourself looking at the progress of your goals and you might find that you’re not where you want to be. Don’t let that discourage you. Don’t operate based on that emotion of discouragement.

Continue to put your faith in God. The night is always the darkest before dawn. When you’re in your darkest state and it seems like you’ve lost all hope and despair, remember to yet hold on to the promise of God. Read More→

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: (Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV)

What are your expectations for life? God’s will for our life is that we live in abundance. The scripture tells us that if we keep His commandments, the Lord will make us the head and not the tail; and He’ll make us above and not beneath. Always know that God has something greater in store for you.

Don’t be comfortable living where you are. You should always strive to rise to a new level and dimension in your life. Read More→

An affirmation is something that you repeat over and over to yourself whether it’s a good thought or a bad thought. As I’ve stated in previous articles, there is power in the thoughts that you think. Our thoughts are based on our habits and what we are preconditioned to think.

Maybe you were raised in a negative environment and your parents raised you to think that you would never amount to anything. Maybe they didn’t say it directly but their actions communicated that you weren’t worthy of achieving greatness in your life.

Friends, know that negative thoughts are almost directly connected to our emotions and the way we feel. When you wake up in the morning, start the day off with a positive prayer.

Talk to God and thank Him for simply waking you. You should be thankful that you do have the mind of Christ. No matter what the enemy brings your way, declare greatness and prosperity over yourself. Read More→
