One of the best habits you can learn in life is to speak positive things into existence. You can have anything in life that you want but you must first learn to ask in Jesus’ name and speak it into existence.

You see, God is a God of increase. He always wants to see you grow. I believe He’s moved when we have Faith enough to speak things in advance. In fact, the scripture says that we should speak things into existence.

No matter what the circumstances around you may be, know that you can make positive declarations ahead of time. God is going ahead of you and providing a way out of no way. All you have to do is exercise your faith.

Maybe you’re facing adversity, why not wake up tomorrow morning and make a positive declaration. Say “Lord I know things around me don’t look good but Lord I know you’re in control. I’m thankful that you’re going ahead of me making crooked places straight and rough places plain.“

Your declaration should be that no matter what you’re facing, you have the favor of God on you and something good is in store for you today!

Maybe you’ve been sick and you’ve got a negative report from the doctors. They said chances are you’re not going to make it. They’ve said that the odds are in your favor. Know today that Jesus is in the blessing business. He’s performing miracles that defy what the doctors have said. Make a declaration today that just like many who have defied the odds, you will be one of the ones to overcome.

When you wake up in the morning lift your head up – stick your chest out. Make positive declarations for the day ahead and witness the blessings that God has in store for you!

I was thinking about all the trials and adversities that I’ve faced in life. And as I look back over time, it turns out that God has always stepped in right on time.

It may have not been the time that I wanted Him to step in but everything turned out for my good. You see, God has the master plan. Everything that has ever happened or anything that’s bound to happen, happens according to His master plan.

Even in the interim, you may be tempted to question God. You might say, “God any time now. If you’ll deliver me from this storm, it will be alright.” You may even feel like you’re tossed out to sea in raging waters just minutes from drowning. But you have to know that God will throw your rope out just when the time is right.

Your help is right around the corner. If you’ll just stay in faith, God will step in and make a way out of no way. You may want your breakthrough now but just like the Psalmist says, wait patiently on the Lord and be of good courage!

I love how the songwriter says lift up your head, your deliverance draweth nigh. In other words, your harvest is around the corner. Your promise is within reach.

Dig down deep inside and muster up the strength and courage. If God put you through a trial, He gives you the strength to endure it. Stay afloat and make a decision to roll with the punches. God has a plan that’s tailor-made for you. Fight the good fight of faith today as you rise to higher heights!

Most of the difficulties we face in life can be made better by simply changing your thoughts. The scripture says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness.

The enemy knows that if he wants to get you down and focusing on the negative all he has to do is get in your mind. All day long he’ll cause you to feel downcast. He wants to convince you that you’ll never make it, that trouble that you’re facing there is no way you can overcome it. He wants you to feel discouraged in your life. In fact, John 10:10 says that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus says that I’ve come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

You see, the enemy wants to steal your Joy. He wants to steal your confidence. He wants to steal your dreams.  But the word of God declares that you are victorious. It’s says that you’re more than a conqueror.

It’s time to let go of those strongholds that have been plaguing your life. Those thoughts of defeat, insecurity, and negativity, let them go. When you face hardships, declare that you will overcome them in peace. Your declaration should be that no matter what comes your way, you will overcome it.

Don’t allow strongholds to get the best of you. Don’t let the enemy bind you down and convince you that you’re powerless. Declare that you’re powerful! Remember with God on your side you can do anything. In fact, the bible reminds us that if God be for us who can be against us. Remove those strongholds today. Reach up and grab your victory as you charge forth on your journey of life!

One of the things that hold us back in life is the limiting beliefs that we hold against ourselves. We look at our circumstances and allow the way things look around us to hold us back from taking a step out on faith.

The truth is you are closer to your destination, you just don’t know it because you’re not taking action.

That dream home that you’ve been always wanting, you’re closer than you think to achieving that reality. That goal that you’ve been planning so long is just around the corner. That ideal body that you’ve been wanting to achieve is obtainable. You just have to go out of your way to make them come to pass.

Don’t look at your past. No, God doesn’t grant you favor based on your past. Don’t allow what seems to be a curse rob you of the destiny that God has for you. No, take a leap of faith today!

There’s a house out there with your name on it. Dare you claim it today! I dare you to call that real estate agent. You may be surprised at how much you have going for you. You may find that all this time you’ve been blinded because you’ve been focusing on what’s going against you.

That business that you’ve been wanting to start, why not get with a consultant today and map out a business plan? Maybe, you want to get in shape but you don’t know where to start. Stop by the local gym. Talk to a trainer, you may discover that there are exercises tailor-made just for you.

If you’ll stay in faith, you will discover that your dreams are closer than you think. Remember, God responds to your faith. You may say, “well I can’t do it alone.” That’s okay, call a friend. Hold each other accountable. Get in agreement with each other and activate your faith today. You might be surprised to discover that the blessings of God are just around the corner.

Stay in faith, there’s a supernatural miracle awaiting just around the corner!

When it comes to accomplishing your goals, it’s a two part act. Sure you need to have faith and believe that you can achieve greatness. But it’s not enough just to believe. Things start to happen when you start to take action.

In fact, I like to relate it to grade school when we learned about potential and kinetic energy. An object is said to have kinetic energy when it’s in motion. A perfect example of this is a rubber band flying through the air, it has kinetic energy.

Potential energy is the energy an object possess due to it’s position. If you take the rubber band and stretch it, it has potential energy. Once you release it that potential energy then becomes kinetic energy.

Well my friend this is the way I like to look at the game of faith and accomplishing goals. See when you release your faith you’re instilling potential energy into yourself. You’re stretching yourself to new horizons.

Once you take action, you’re taking that stored up energy and putting it to good use. It’s a two way street. I dare you to mix your faith with action today!

Yes It’s good to have faith because it’s the foundation that will empower you along the journey. It’s your faith that’s going to keep you on track when hurdles attempt to cripple you. But no matter what you do, stay in action! Stay the course!

I believe that opportunities will arise once you put one foot in front of the other and take action. You see, you’ve got assignments to fulfill. You’ve got mountains to climb. And as long as you’re sitting dormant, you’re only delaying yourself.

It’s okay to wait until you’re ready. No race starts with out these three words: ready, set, go! But once you declare that you’re ready, excuse my French but get to gettin’ while the gettin’ is good! In other words, don’t kill your potential energy. Don’t allow your faith to dwindle because of lack of action! I want to encourage you to develop a plan of action today and stay the course and watch as you rise to higher heights and deeper depths!

One of the greatest things that you have going for you is your faith. I believe that your faith is what will determine the things to come in the future.

Luckily, it doesn’t take much faith. God doesn’t base your level of blessings on whether you believe more than the next person. His favor for you isn’t based on how long you’ve been a believer. God moves on the simple fact that you are a believer period. He is honored when we join our faith in agreement.

If you honor God by exercising your faith, He will restore everything that has been lost and give you more. In fact, I heard Joel Osteen say, “He’s going to give you double for your trouble!“

Dare you join your faith in agreement today? Dare you believe that greater things are in store for you?

Know that God wants to perform a supernatural miracle. The scripture says that, “He’s perfecting those things which concern you.“

Remember that without faith it’s impossible to please God. All you have to do is believe. The scripture says, If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains!

I don’t know about you, but I sit up in my chair when I hear scriptures like this. To know that something so small can contribute to moving something the size of a mountain is amazing to me.

If you’ll just stay in faith, you will witness the blessings that God has in store for you! I dare you to wake up in the morning and make a declaration that something good is in store for you today! You may not know what it is but use your faith and declare that God is preparing the table for you.

Romans 4:17 says to call those things that be not as though they were. In other words, you have to speak a miracle into existence. You may not see your blessing but you have to know, without a shadow of a doubt that your blessing is on the way! Exercise your faith today and watch greater things come to pass as you charge forth on your journey of life!

You have the great ability to be able to speak words of power into your life. You can speak to the mountains in your life, command that they be removed, and they will be moved.

You can turn any bad trial into triumph by speaking encouraging words over yourself.

I’m reminded of the scripture where men were speaking of stoning David, and as a result he became distressed. But David encouraged himself in the Lord. (1 Samuel 30:6)

God has given you the ability to speak anything that you desire into existence, if you go to Him and ask. We know this because Matthew 7:7 exclaims, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.“

It’s important that exercise faith, after going to God and asking of a need. Realize one of the greatest attributes of faith is believing before seeing.

When you command the mountains in your life to move, they have no other choice but to move. We’re encouraged of this because Mark 11:23 reminds us: “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.“

You see God has given you the awesome power to speak victory into your life. It’s up to you release self-doubt, let go of fear, relinquish the self defeat of your past and own up to your destiny.

You owe it to yourself to speak words of life into your future and believe in your heart and not doubt that you are an over-comer. Just like Mark 11:23 says if you speak that the mountains in your life be removed and don’t doubt- keyword doubt- then and only then will it be done for you.

You may say “This mountain is too big, I just don’t see any possible way around it,” well my friend, that’s where the problem begins. If those are the words that you’re speaking then that’s what will come to pass.

As long as you’re speaking negative words of defeat over your life then you will never experience the victory that God has for you. Make a decision today, lift your head up, put your shoulders back, and boldly declare that you are more than a conqueror today and watch awesome miracles take place as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Work hard so God can say to you, “Well done.” Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work… 2 Timothy 2:15

In order to get something good out of life you have to put some effort. You have to roll up your sleeves and break a little sweat. Remember, faith without works is dead.

The scripture tells us to write the vision, and make it plain upon tables. However, we can write down our ambitions and goals all day long, but until we have the faith to act on it and put effort behind the work, we won’t see the vision come to pass. God is not moved on just our level of belief alone, He’s moved on our ability to act on our faith.

A wise man once said, “Even a mosquito doesn’t get a slap on the back until it starts to work.” Maybe you’re looking for a pat on the back. You might even be looking for the diamond in the rough, but remember that the treasure is never at the top of the sand. You have to dig down deep into the sand to find the treasure. The pot of gold doesn’t come before the storm, you have to go through the storm and find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Too often people put forth a little work effort, gain some ground, and then lose interest. You have to be consistent in order to see the manifestation of your vision.

I recently challenged myself and set a higher bar for myself in one of my goals. It was harder work indeed but I started noticing better results. However, at some point in time, I started to lose the vigor that I originally had and as a result, my progress began to diminish.

What am I saying? You must be consistent with your effort in order to see constant progress.

I always say that the harder the work, the harder the reward. The harder the mosquito works, the bigger the “pat on the back.” Devise a plan of action and work hard and consistent and watch miracles happen in your favor as you charge forth on your journey of life.

We’ve all heard the saying, “When one door closes another opens.” When you pray to God for something to manifest itself in your life, do you get disappointed when it doesn’t come to pass?

You can pray the unselfish prayer, that the Lord will let His will be done in your life, and you can even pray that He does what’s best for you, but when doors close in your face allow that ‘No’ in your life to push and motivate you to find the doors that are open to you.

When we evaluate the statement, “When one door closes another opens,” it doesn’t mean that we’re not favored by God, it doesn’t mean that we’re not good enough, but it does imply that God sees the bigger picture and He won’t allow us to settle for mediocrity.

Some opportunities that we view as great and perfect opportunities for us, are not in God’s ultimate plan for our lives. Remember, God has your best interest at heart and He won’t desert you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

When you’re tempted to get down in despair, know that God sees your future and He knows what’s best for you. Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us, “8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

When you’re faced with the disappointment of having closed doors shut in your face, look at that as an opportunity to exercise your faith. That’s an opportunity for you to declare, “Lord, I know that you’re in control of my destiny. I trust you Lord.”

When we offer up praises like this, it moves God. He’s impressed when we exercise our faith. Even when we don’t know what path to take, we should know that the Lord is the captain of our ship and that He won’t guide us off course.

In fact, when doors close in your face that’s a time for you to get joyful, because if the very opportunity that you thought was best for you wasn’t the opportunity that’s in God’s ultimate plan, then one can only wonder the magnitude that God has for you. This means that God thinks highly enough of you not to place you in a mediocre position in life.

Remain optimistic regardless of the number of closed doors that you encounter. When one door closes take a leap of faith and explore brand new opportunities. God is in the blessing business and when the time is right,  He’ll shower down more blessings than you have room enough to receive as you charge forth in your life journey.

Rush hour traffic is a funny thing. You can sit in one lane and watch the other two lanes moving forward, then the second you change lanes, that one backs up and the one you were in moves ahead.

Sometime ago, I was watching the movie, Office Space. I didn’t see the whole thing but I’ll never forget dying of laughter after watching the beginning of the movie when the main character was on his way to work in rush hour traffic. He was in the middle lane which, by the way, wasn’t moving an inch, and he’s sitting there watching the left and right lane just cruising along.

So he opts to get over into the left hand lane, and as soon as he gets over, that lane comes to a halt and the middle lane starts to move forward. Now he’s looking at the middle and the far right hand lane cruising alone while his lane is at a complete stand still.

He then opts to get back into the middle lane and then the left hand lane starts to push forward. I found this to be hilarious because we all, at some point in our experience of driving in rush hour traffic, have experienced this.

What lane are you traveling in on the road of life?  Are you changing lanes just because it “seems” as though everyone else is moving ahead, and you’re not? Hang tight my friend. Don’t jump ship just because you’re not moving ahead at the rate that you think you should be.

God will take you to the next level on His own timing. You will move ahead when God sees that you’re ready for the next level in life.

Luke 12:48 tells us: “But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”

God won’t put more on you than you can bear. You may be ready to move forward but the territory that comes with that level in life, may be too much for you right now.

We all grow and mature at different levels in life. Whereas, it may take you 2 years to reach your pinnacle of success in your business or goal, another person may be able to reach their pinnacle in half that time. It doesn’t mean that God has more favor towards one or the other, it means that God knows when the time is right to progress you forward.

He’s the beginning and He’s the end. He’s the Alpha and the Omega. Jeremiah 1:5 says: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” God knew, even before you were born, the greatness that you have on your life. You are indeed destined for greatness, my friend.

I believe that God looks at us based on the lessons we’ve learned from our past experiences. He  looks at how we implement those lessons into our lives. He’s also looking to see if we have a heart to seek after Him.

Instead of looking around at others in life and seeing how they’re progressing, and wanting to change lanes just because it seems as though you’re not progressing, look unto, Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Stand still and keep your eyes focused on God.

God sent His son, Jesus, to die so that we may all have the right to the tree of life. Therefore, if we all live right we’re going to go to the same place. We will get there at different times but were all going to the same place in life. Some people have gone on before you but don’t let that stop you.

Stay in your lane. Don’t waiver to the left, don’t waiver to the right. Wait patiently on the Lord and be of good courage. He will strengthen your heart as you move forward in your life journey.
