You Have the Special Formula

Posted by: | Comments (1)

It was said that the world population has now exceeded 7 billion. Out of every person in the world: man, woman, boy, girl, you are all distinct.

God has given you a special formula. You’ve found favor in God’s eyes and He has given you that special something that makes you stand out from the rest. You’re  set apart.  You have something that no other has.

Out of 7 billion people in the world, no one has your uniqueness. No one has your talents or your skills. God has designed you with a special gift on the inside.

It’s easy to think that you’re not special or that you don’t matter. But the truth is there is someone out there on the other end looking for what you have.

No other person can walk like you or talk like you. No other can be the same kind of friend, spouse, parent, sibling or colleague as you. It’s not about your features or the clothes you wear, no it’s that special little something that God has placed on the inside.

Your ingredients can make a difference. You were made for more. God has given you qualities that no one else has.

You have the formula that can bring you into your full potential. God has given you a unique recipe. It’s a recipe that can never be duplicated. It can’t be imitated or emulated. It’s a one of a kind recipe.

Tap into that recipe. Hold onto that peculiar formula that you possess. Believe that you are worthy of great and mighty things. Know that you deserve to come into a greater level of living. When you come into this realization, you’ll flourish beyond measure as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Amen Seals the Deal!

Posted by: | Comments (0)

So many are putting a question mark where God put a period. The fact of the matter is the promises of God are already signed, sealed and delivered. Before the foundation of the world, God’s word stood. He knew our fate. And He had a plan for all of our lives.

God’s word is His bond. It’s His promise to all people. The Bible tells us that God’s word is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. It never changes.

The scripture says, “the promises of God are yes and amen.” When God gave us His final word- when He gave us His promise, it was an amen. That sealed the deal. It’s not for us to refute it. It’s not for us to dispute it. No, it’s non-negotiable. There’s not jury to vote against it. With God’s promises, it’s a resounding Yes! We can confidently stand on His word with an amen.

It’s easy to look around you at all the circumstances. It might seem like all the odds are against you. It might seem like the Lord is no where to be found in the midst of a dark night, but His word says never will He leave you or forsake you. He will Read More→

God is Not Mad at You!

Posted by: | Comments (1)

In the Old Testament, the wrath of God was evident. And many have gone on to believe that God is still angry at them. It’s easy to think that God is not in your favor. At times, you may even think God is not in your corner, but let me tell you that is the furthest from the truth. God is for you.

The good news is God is not mad at you, He’s madly in love with you. As the Father, He allows some hardships, struggles and pains to come into your life. But in the end, you’re going to come out stronger, wiser and a better person.

He loves you enough to put you through the storm. He loves you enough to turn your mess into your message. Our heavenly Father, loves you enough to allow a little rain.

Because of what Jesus has done, our God is not mad at you anymore. Even in the old, there was a method to God’s madness. At times, the nation of Israel was Read More→

Accepting the Opposition (Video)

Posted by: | Comments (0)

It’s easy to get discouraged when minor setbacks and difficulties come into the picture. Speed bumps or hurdles might slow us down in the interim, but they’re the tests that bring us into the purpose that God has for us.

Here’s another way to put it. Popcorn starts off as a small seed. It’s not until it goes through extreme heat and distress that it blossoms into it’s purpose. In the same way, you were created for a greater purpose. Even if you go through the fire and heat, you’ll come out better and more fulfilled. Don’t despise the day of small beginnings!

I’ve filmed another vlog. It’s just a short nugget to hopefully encourage you when you face minor setbacks along your day. Check it out below!

Take the Healthy Approach

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Our health is something we shouldn’t take lightly. The way we take care of our bodies now plays a crucial role in a long, healthy and prosperous life.

If order to live the long life that the Lord has promised, we have to make some changes to preserve our bodies. We’ve got to change some eating habits.

It may require getting physically active and exercising. Maybe sweets have been your guilty pleasure. You may start by cutting back little by little. Maybe you’ve been prone to eating fast foods and foods that are high in fats. You may want to consider trying whole foods- vegetables, fruits- foods that are overall better for your health.

You wouldn’t put a low grade gasoline in a high performance engine. There’s a reason why the oil cap on the engine is labeled to advise what type of oil to put in it. If not, you could run the risk of damaging the engine. Your car would not perform to it’s maximum potential.

In the same way, what goes in your body effects you. When you put fatty foods in, it’s going to effect your performance. It will effect your mood and health. You would not perform to your maximum potential. But you’ll be surprised at how much Read More→

Relight the Fire!

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Our passion, zest and zeal is what drives us. It’s the fire that we have on the inside that catapults us into our God-given destiny.

When God placed seeds of greatness on the inside, He instilled this passion. He instilled the fire and the motivation for you to go on and achieve great and mighty things.

Somewhere along the line, many have lost their passion. They’ve lost the drive to do what they once loved. They’ve given up on all their dreams.

But let me encourage you today, don’t lose that fire. Don’t lose the zest and the zeal that God has placed inside you. Go back to your first love.

Maybe you were born to be an artist. And somewhere along the line, you’ve lost the desire, the passion- the motivation. Reflect on what you once loved about art. You see, there was something there deep down inside that once caused you to Read More→

John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross we now have abundant life.

Our sins have been washed away. We’ve been made new. We are now at right standings with God. The enemy came to steal your dreams. The enemy thought your God-given destiny was dead, but God is resurrecting your dreams. He’s resurrecting your hopes. Dare to dream again- get your hopes up.

In this week’s inspirational video, I talk about the life that God has for us. I also talk about a “double-portion celebration” that I got to share this year on Easter. Check it out!

Too often, we’re looking around us for validation. We’re looking for someone to affirm who we are. We’re looking to be accepted, loved and appreciated.

But we’re not always going to find encouragement from others. We’re not always going to find an uplifting word. In fact, sometimes it’s the other way around. There are times when others will bring stress to your day.

That’s when you have to dig down deep and encourage yourself in the Lord. Tell yourself that you are blessed and highly favored. You’re wonderful and fearfully made. Tell yourself that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

When you get a false and negative report from a critic, do yourself a favor and pay it no mind. Let it go in one ear and out the other.

I remember years ago when the “cool” term used to be “talk to the hand.” Friends, the term may be out of style. It may not be the “hip” thing to say, but the Read More→

It’s the will of our heavenly Father for you to live an abundant life. You were destined for greatness not mediocrity. You are made to be extraordinary not ordinary.

Many times we’ll play it safe. We’ll set goals that aren’t challenging. Or we’ll reach a goal and stay there. We won’t push forth to our full potential.

But you’ve got to keep setting your sights high. Don’t get comfortable- stagnant. No, dare to be all that you can be.

Now I’m all for setting small reasonable goals. But these should lead to the ultimate accomplishment. It’s okay to push the line. It’s okay to set high goals and visions for your life.

When you set goals and reach them, you grow. You get stronger, more talented, more equipped- you become better. But the problem comes into play when you grow but your goals don’t. As you make your accomplishments, plan the next Read More→
