If You Didn’t Hit the Ground Running…

Some days you just can’t get into the swing of things. There will be days when you’re on top of everything. You don’t miss a beat. And there will be days when you just don’t hit the ground running.

Sometimes, the burdens and the stress of the day seems to get the best of you. If you’re facing a day like this, take heart. Don’t be dismayed. Be encouraged.

It’s days like these that we grow. It’s days like these that make us stronger. Better. We grow backbone. We grow courage to press forward to the finish line.

Guess what? When you press forward during the bad days, one thing is for sure. The next time will not as bad. The next down day, becomes easier. Your thought process becomes clearer. You can reason a bit more.

If you didn’t hit the ground running this morning, that’s okay. You crawl if you have to. Just stay in the race!

Let your declaration be, “I’m going to do my best in every way. I’m going to work in excellence. But I will make it through this day.”

Don’t let the stress, burdens or heartaches keep you down. Don’t let failures of your past or discouragements, keep you from coming into God’s best. Keep pressing forward. Give it all you’ve got. In doing so, your finish line will become reachable for you as you charge forth on your journey of life!
