The scripture tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Notice, the key here is sound mind- a sound mind to make good decisions, step out on faith and seize opportunities.
Many miss out on opportunities for growth, increase and promotion because of fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. It’s the tactic that the enemy uses to keep you from fulfilling your God-given destiny.
If you’re going to come into the abundance that God has for you, you’re going to have to shake off the fear and walk in faith. God has favored you. He has instilled seeds of greatness down on the inside.
You have the skills. You have the tools. You have the abilities. Now, all you have to do is take one step in faith. If you’ll take one step, God will take two. If you’ll do your best, God will do the rest.
When you hear the voice of defeat saying, “you don’t have what it takes,” speak against it. Say “I have everything on the inside to do anything I put my hands to do.” When fear comes to remind you of all the times you’ve fallen and failed, change thepicture. See yourself not only standing, but leaping great bounds. See yourself successful and prosperous– an overcomer!
Friend, you are a victor not a victim. You’re not a victim to fear. You’re not a victim to defeat. No, you’re a victor destined for greatness by the most high God, Creator of the universe!
Remember, God began a good work in you and He’ll bring it to completion. So shake off the fear. Don’t let it interfere with the good work God is doing in you. Don’t let it hold you back from coming into victory God has for you as you charge forth on your journey of life!
