inspirational words

In the game of life, we all have our ups and downs. Some days are good, some days are bad. Things won’t always go our way.

But you have to know that you’ve been equipped with everything you need to press through the tough times.

In the natural, the human body naturally heals itself. When you get a wound the body goes into “self-repair” mode… if you will. Then your heart releases platelets to the wound to form a covering to protect it and cause it to heal.

In the same way, God has equipped you with a survival trait to naturally endure the game of life. When you get a bad break, know that won’t crumble. You may get knocked down but you won’t get knocked out.

You’ve been created and designed by the Almighty God to take a lick and keep on ticking. Don’t crumble under pressure. No my friend, you have to know that you’re in it to win it.

Here is this week’s inspirational video. Find out how, just like the human body, you’re made to bounce back in the game of life. Take a look.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the facts of life. From time to time we’re told, this is will never work. That is impossible. This can’t be done. That is unachievable. But the fact of the matter is when you take a step out on faith, you have the power of the almighty God backing you up.

The scripture says with man it’s impossible, but with God all things are possible. When you live by the facts, you’re limiting God. Don’t put God in a box. No, dare to take a step out on faith and watch miraculous things happen.

I once heard a wise person once say, “most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.”

Here’s the thing, when you take bold steps of faith, you’ll find that the odds are against you. Scientists may tell you that you’re defying all the laws of nature. Doctors may give you a report based on facts. Your friends may even advise you against it. But Read More→

In Your appointed Time

Posted by: | Comments (1)

“Let us not become wary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

God’s Word declares that there is a time for everything under the sun. Ecclesiastes chapter 3 gives a few illustrations of such things.

Just to name a few, there’s a time to plant and a time to uproot. A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to keep and a time to throw away.

In the same way, there is a time for everything in your life. God has already designed and predestined your life. And there is an appointed time for every season in your life.

What I like about today’s verse is that it reminds us that in the appointed time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Notice, it doesn’t say maybe we’ll reap a harvest… it doesn’t say in our own time we’ll reap a harvest. No, it says at an appointed time we’ll reap a harvest.

This appointed time, is God’s time. He sees the end from the beginning. He Read More→

Your Story Ends in Victory!

Posted by: | Comments (0)

When God is on your side, no one or nothing can ever come against you. As long as you’re on the winning side, you will triumph over all your obstacles.

It’s easy to get soured on life. It’s easy to think that God has forgotten about you. In the midst of storms and difficulties, most have a tendency to shift the focus on the “right now” and forget the end result. But you have to know that your story ends in victory.

Make no mistake, you will have some losses. Everyday won’t be sunshine. You’re going to have some defeats. You may get knocked down, but you won’t get knocked out. You may even lose the battle, but you won’t lose the war. Your final chapter concludes that your story ends in victory.

If you’ll flip to the back of the Bible, you’ll discover that God’s Word promises Read More→

Take the Other Route

Posted by: | Comments (1)

Day in and day out, we face the same routine things. We do the things that are most comfortable. We get stuck in a rut and settle for mediocrity.

For many, stagnation can become the one thing that holds them back from reaching their full God-given potential. In the natural, we take the same route to work. We eat the same foods. We take the same approach that winds us no where.

But if you’re going to come into your divine destiny and experience the better life God has for you, you’re going to have to change some things. Step out of your comfort zone. Change your approach.

Take a different route in the game of life. You’ll discover that in Read More→

And it Came to Pass…

Posted by: | Comments (0)

“…weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” – Psalm 30:5

We all go through our seasons in life. Even in the natural, seasons don’t last forever. No, every season has it’s time. The summer, fall, winter and spring only last for an appointed time.

This same concept applies in every area of your life. When you face storms and trials in your life, remember that they’re only temporary. They’re just like seasons, they’re meant to pass away.

All throughout God’s word, it says “and it came to pass…” This is a great reminder that nothing lasts forever. Your storm didn’t come to stay, it came to pass.

You can rejoice in knowing that your dark and cold winters won’t last forever. Rejoice knowing that your obstacles will soon be a thing of the past. On the other side of your mountain is joy, hope and victory. It will all come to pass.

I love how today’s scripture reminds us, weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. But here’s the good news: it’s darkest just before Read More→

The Best in Me (Video)

Posted by: | Comments (2)

Stereotyping is something we all do. By nature, we all look at one another, size each other up and make a final judgement based on what we see. And there are some who have grown to see the worst in others instead of seeing the best.

One of the greatest forms of love is believing the best in everyone you come in contact with. In other words, see their true potential. Look for what they have going for them rather than their flaws, mistakes and failures.

Maybe you could be one of the ones to encourage them. Maybe you could be one of the ones to spark life and influence someone to dream bigger. Look beyond their outer appearance. Don’t judge them based on their past. No, see the best in others. Bring out the greater potential in the people that you encounter.

Here is this week’s inspirational video. Find out how I use M&M’s to demonstrate how God sees us and how we should see each other. Take a look.

Do Good Toward all People

Posted by: | Comments (2)

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

The Bible tells us that God is no respecter of persons. He values everyone: the young, old, rich, poor, man and woman. Every race and creed, He loves us all just the same.

God has a heart for us one and all. He doesn’t bless one and not the other. No, The Lord wants to see us all live a good, fulfilling life. But He also wants us to turn around and do good towards others.

Many have a tendency to do good to those in their close circle of friends. Others tend to get selective and show love towards a particular kind. But when we operate in the true love of Christ, we do good toward all people.

Don’t favor one over the other. Don’t be selective and picky when it Read More→

What’s In Your Picture Frame?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

What do you see when you look out into the future? Do you see a life of hope, favor and blessings? Or do you see lack, defeat and failure?

Let me encourage you today, get a vision for the great things that God has in store for you. See through your eyes of faith.

The promises of God may not be tangible yet. You may not experience signs and wonders of the greatness that He has in store for you, but get a vision for it. See through the supernatural picture frame

Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. In the supernatural, everything that God has ever promised is already yours. Now all you have to do is align your vision with the spiritual promises that are already in store.

If you’re going to come into the promises of God you’re going to have to look through your eyes of faith. See yourself healthy, prosperous and whole. Imagine the Read More→

How to Deal with Defeat

Posted by: | Comments (0)

We all face our set backs, rejections, and disappointments. When we face defeat, we’re tempted to crumble, throw in the towel and give up.

But let me encourage you today, your greatest victory comes when you press through the rejection. Your greatest success doesn’t come through luck. It doesn’t come by chance. It comes by persevering despite the countless defeats you face.

Our God has given you all the talents, gifts and abilities to press forward to do great things. Now, all you have to do is stretch yourself. Defy all the odds. Reach forward into your God-given destiny. I think of many examples of people who went on to achieve great success, despite the number of times they were told “no.”

I’ve completed this week’s inspirational video. In the video, I talk about these great historical figures and how they were all told “no.” However, they pressed on regardless of the defeat they faced. Please see the video below.
