It’s Not Too Late
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the greatest deceptions we fall prey to is believing that it’s too late to achieve our goals. The greatest trick of the enemy is to cause you to abort the divine appointment God has for your life.
Too often, we tell ourselves that our dreams are too far out of reach. We think that we’re too old to achieve them, or we don’t have the talents, or we don’t have the motivation. And many people even go as far as to make up excuses for why they shouldn’t achieve their goals.
But you should know that if God has given you a dream and a destiny, it’s your job to fulfill it. He may give you an assignment early on in life or He may reveal it to you at a much later age. But know that if God has given you a goal to shoot for, you should defy all the reasons why you shouldn’t do it. Instead, be bold and courageous enough to take a step of faith!

Remember, Moses was eighty years old when God sent him back to Egypt to deliver the children of Egypt out of bondage. Abraham was ninety-nine when he had his first son, Issac. Noah was over five-hundred years old when God told him to build the ark. So my friend, it’s never too late for you.
That business that you’ve been wanting to start, it’s not too late. That house that you’ve been looking for, it’s not too late. Maybe Read More→
The Still Small Voice
Posted by: | CommentsGod can speak to us in many ways. For some, He speaks through other people or prophets, such as He did in the old testament. Others look for signs and wonders. And for some, He simply speaks through the written Word of God.
But if you allow Him to, He’ll speak directly to your heart. You have access to a direct revelation from the Lord. He spoke to prophet Elijah as a still small voice, other translations described Him as a whisper.
He didn’t speak as a mighty wind. He didn’t speak through the fire. He didn’t speak as a roaring thunderous voice ringing from the heavens, neither did He speak through the storms. No, He spoke as a still small voice.
The good news, my friend, is that when Jesus came on the scene the old was passed away. In the old testament, the people had to seek a prophet in order to hear from the Lord. But you and I no longer have to go seek a prophet to hear from the Lord. No, we have direct access to hear from Him.

If you allow Him to, He’ll speak to you as that same still small voice that Elijah witnessed. But too often, we’re cluttering our minds. The the radio is blasting. The television comes on for entertainment as soon as we enter the house. Other times, we’ve got people speaking to us and deterring our focus. And It’s not that God isn’t speaking to us, it’s just that we can’t hear Him because other things have our attention.
You would think He would speak as a thunder ringing out of the heavens Read More→
ShareMake Positive Declarations
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the greatest faith filled actions you can do is speak things into existence. The words we speak have so much power over our lives.
It’s amazing that something so small as the tongue has so much impact over our lives. Too often, we go around making negative declarations over our lives even when we don’t intend to.
Many times we’re guilty of saying such things as, “I’ll never accomplish that goal, it’s too far out of my league” or “I don’t have the talents or credentials.” You may even say things like, “I don’t deserve anything good.”
But my friend, I’ll have you to know that death and life lies in the power of the tongue. God has given you the power to speak death or life into you your situation. He even bids us to choose life. The Lord says, in Deuteronomy 30:19, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life!”

Your declaration should be that you are above and not beneath, you are the head and not the tail. You are a lender not a borrower. Make the positive declaration that you’re blessed going in and blessed coming out. You’re blessed in the city and in the field such as the scriptures remind us.
Instead of making negative declarations and thinking that you don’t have the talents or the skills, make a positive statement. Declare that you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you such as Philippians 4:13 says.
You can make a Romans 8:28 declaration that all things are working Read More→
ShareBe Intentional In Every Area of Life
Posted by: | CommentsMany times we live life just going through the motions. For some, life is like a game of dice. They shake it up, throw it out there and hope it lands on a good number.
Sometimes you can’t just live life going wherever the wind takes you. You can’t just spend the wheel and hope to get a good pick. No, you have to be intentional about the things of life. You have do things with a purpose in mind.
For instance, many people will sow a seed simply because it’s “the thing” to do. For some, giving has become common place. They’re just going through the motions. And that’s fine as long as you’re consistently putting seed in the ground. But it’s important that you do it with intention. You should never forget the reason for giving.

When you tip the waitress at the restaurant, don’t just do it because that’s the thing you’re supposed to do. No, use that as an opportunity to be intentional. Look at it as a seed that you’re putting in the ground. When you give to others your intention is to help them and in return you will reap a harvest.
When you let someone in front of you at the grocery store line, do it with intention. Let it serve a purpose. For the scriptures remind you to treat others the way you want to be treated. In other words, when you show favor to someone else, favor will come back to you.
My friend, don’t just go through the ropes of life. If you want to make it to Read More→
ShareWait On The Lord
Posted by: | CommentsWhen faced with setbacks in life, we tend to look all around us, and it can seem as though God is nowhere to be found. And in the interim, sometimes we fall into the negative mindset.
You might look to the left of you and find obstacles there. You might look to the right of you, and see disappointment. You may look behind you, and find failure or regret. And if you look ahead, you may see a dead-end future.
But be encouraged today, the Lord God sees your troubles. He hears your cry for help. He’s not ignoring you, He hears the prayers of the righteous!
When it seems like God is not moving at the pace we want Him to move, we find ourselves taking matters in our own hands. We find ourselves calculating and mapping out a plan of actions when often times God wants us to wait.

On the contrary, when we do wait patiently on the Lord we find ourselves growing weak and faint. While waiting, we discover that our strength is put to the test. But God sees you and He’s waiting on that right time to deliver you into the next dimension of life.
The scripture encourages us in Isaiah 40:31 that those who wait on the Lord will renew there strength. They will mount up on wings as eagles. They will run and not get weary. They will walk and not faint.
And I heard an interesting fact about eagles. Eagles sit on the edge of the Read More→
ShareYou Are Not Alone
Posted by: | CommentsIsn’t it amazing that we serve a God who never leaves you alone? He is a God who is with you always.
Maybe you’ve had times when it seems like you’re alone. Maybe there have been times when friends were no where to be found. Perhaps your family isn’t close at hand.
But remember, the God we serve says He will never leave you or forsake you. He will be with you until the end of the age. The psalmist describes Him as a father to the fatherless and a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
I think about the children of Israel when they were in the wilderness waiting on the Lord to deliver them into their promise land. Even when Moses went up onto the mountain for forty days and forty nights, they became restless. They began to complain and wonder if God delivered them out of bondage just to have them die in the wilderness.

They even thought their leader and friend, Moses had abandoned them. But little did they know, the Lord was working behind the scenes to give them guidance. It was during this time, that Moses was on the mountain, that God had a plan to speak to them and reveal the way of living to them.
It turns out they were not alone out there in the wilderness. God never left them.
My friend, just like the Israelites, know that God will never leave you either. You Read More→
ShareHis Power Works In You!
Posted by: | CommentsI like to call Him an Ephesians 3:20 God. That means He’s a God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we may ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. It’s amazing to know that through Christ, we can achieve anything we set our minds to do. We serve a God who can conquer anything.
Yes it’s true, without Him we’re nothing. But with Him no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
The scriptures remind us that there’s nothing too hard for God. And with Him, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. If God be for you, no one can be against you.

My friend, it’s time to lift up your head and stick your shoulders back and boldly approach whatever comes your way with confidence. You have the power to achieve anything that you put your mind to.
Romans 8:11 says that the same power that raised Jesus from dead lives in you. It’s time to tap into that power. Be encouraged today and know that you have the ability to achieve great things.
