You Are Not Alone
ByIsn’t it amazing that we serve a God who never leaves you alone? He is a God who is with you always.
Maybe you’ve had times when it seems like you’re alone. Maybe there have been times when friends were no where to be found. Perhaps your family isn’t close at hand.
But remember, the God we serve says He will never leave you or forsake you. He will be with you until the end of the age. The psalmist describes Him as a father to the fatherless and a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
I think about the children of Israel when they were in the wilderness waiting on the Lord to deliver them into their promise land. Even when Moses went up onto the mountain for forty days and forty nights, they became restless. They began to complain and wonder if God delivered them out of bondage just to have them die in the wilderness.
They even thought their leader and friend, Moses had abandoned them. But little did they know, the Lord was working behind the scenes to give them guidance. It was during this time, that Moses was on the mountain, that God had a plan to speak to them and reveal the way of living to them.
It turns out they were not alone out there in the wilderness. God never left them.
My friend, just like the Israelites, know that God will never leave you either. You may have moments when you feel friendless or deserted. You may feel like you’re left to dry out in the desert, but just remember that you can look to the hills, such as Psalm 121:1 tells us and realize that God is your help. He is there leading and guiding you. He is there speaking words of life into your spirit.
I want to encourage you to just take out sometime and be sensitive to that still small voice that speaks ever so gently. He is there to feel the void that you may have. He is there to give you love, joy, and peace.
If you acknowledge Him in everything that you do, you will experience His guidance. You will then experience His love and presence as you charge forth on your journey of life!
