Thanks Rob!

I often find it helpful to tie scripture into the points. They give an added dimension and make the points even more deliverable!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Jarrod,
I love the way you tie scripture into the comfort zone. It is a great blend of ancient and modern wisdom. Indeed our comfort zone is a painful psychological barrier when it prevents us from experiencing our unlimited nature. The infinite power of creation is ours if we make a determined effort to use it, as evidenced by Peter.
Blessings,
rob

Hi Joy,

I think that’s an interesting point that you’ve made about fear. If our challenges aren’t fear inducing then perhaps we need to up the challenge. If we don’t grow from them then what is the point in the challenge itself? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great day!

Hi Kiesha,

Welcome! I totally agree, the story of Peter is one of the greatest stories of faith in the Bible. I'm sure that was a great learning experience for Peter himself. Thanks for stopping by, take care!

Jarrod,
You make many valid points. In my life fear can be an obstacle, but I tend to view fear as an indicator that I am on the right path. I do believe in rest, but I also know when I am comfortable I am not truly growing, and growth is often necessary to get to the next level. My faith is strong, and it says anything is possible, however I believe I need to step out first then God and the Universe will meet me where I step. Sometimes that step is taken confidently, sometimes in great fear, but I have to take it.....
I challenge myself to new and different everyday, sometimes something small sometimes something big and life changing, for me it's the process that is the journey. And my children learn from watching me and now even at their young age try new things just because "Mom does".

Hi Jarrod - that story about Peter, while it shows me what happens when you start focusing the environment instead of on Jesus - this same story strengthens my faith. Just knowing that even if for only a short time, Peter was able to walk on water, it let's me know that anything is possible, you just have to stay focused on Christ. Honestly, it's the only way I'm able to do anything.
I didn't realize you had such a nice blog. Sorry it took me so long to make my way here.
I'm not trying to link drop or anything, but you might also enjoy my Christian Blog: http://highlyfavored.affiliateshelpdesk.com
