Isn’t it amazing the big turn around that life can have when we really, truly respect and love ourselves? I always say that we teach others how to treat us. I love the “Every job is a self portrait of the person who does it…” quote. The first time I heard that quote it made me think.

Great topic and post. Self-respect comes up every so often, not only with clients, but with friends as it’s tied in to so many things — confidence, daily interactions, intimate relationships, etc. Respect is a reciprocal characteristic that one must possess to receive.
