My dad used to repeat the "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" phrase all the time. It's Empowering. I read an author who said that the subconscious mind can't take a joke. Reminds me to remind myself who I am throughout the course of the day. Negative self-talk brings negative results unless you manually override it. Excellent Jarrod! I do agree it should be eliminated from our vocabulary because it does nothing but lower your self esteem and places you in a position where you're giving up on life.
