The worst thing we can do when faced with adversity is run from the church. Don’t run and hide when faced with adversity, instead find a support group, talk to your local pastor or minister. Wait patiently on the Lord and be of Good courage, He will come through for you right on time. He knows exactly how much you can bear and He won’t desert you.

Maybe you are taking a hard hit by the downfall of the economy. You’re waiting on the phone to ring from that employer saying “you’re hired” or maybe you’re looking at the simple fact that the enemy is attacking you in every area of your life: your health, your finances, your family, your marriage, and it seems like nothing is giving.

Remember that God is moving on your behalf and He’s got a plan for you. Keep your head up because there is always someone out there who is in a worse position than you. I dare you to look at the blessings that you still have. If we don’t go through storms we will never appreciate the sunshine. It’s the storms that we face in life that give us our strength. If we never face trials we would never learn how to deal with the attacks of the enemy.

My friend I encourage you to remain strong. God is not through with you yet; He’s got something great in store for you. Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) tells us “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

Remember God responds to our right now praise. There is a great song that says “Don’t give up on God for He won’t give up on you, He’s able!” Life is a journey full of ups and downs but stay encouraged, prayerful and faithful as you go through your life journey.
