Be Generous And Do Good
Posted by: | CommentsLet him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. (Galatians 6:6 NKJV)
Are you sowing into the spirits of others? We are in the natural season of harvest. In other words, it’s the time of year for receiving gifts. And as we reap the fruits of our harvest, it’s also a good thing to give back unto others.
There are many forms of giving and as the scripture above says, let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches it.
Friend, don’t miss the opportunity to share the good news to others and motivate those in the household of faith. When your brother is down in despair, share a good word with him. Take the time out and lend a helping hand to someone in need. Read More→
The Difference Between Happiness and Joy
Posted by: | CommentsHappiness is dependent upon people and material things. Many times happiness comes and goes depending on whether our situations are in our favor of not. Happiness is only temporary.
Joy is not based on people or material things, it’s based on the spirit of God within us. Joy is eternal. When you develop the true Joy of the Lord, you make the choice that no matter what comes your way, you will walk in the Lord’s perfect peace.
The bible says that He will keep us in His perfect peace if we keep our mind stayed on Him. You may have so many things hitting you left and right but if you choose to be joyful, and trust that the Lord will keep you in perfect peace, you’ll find life to be a lot less stressful. Wrath is one of the seven deadliest sins.
There is no foundation in the bible where it talks about the seven deadliest sins. It was derived from the Roman Catholic culture where they believe some sins are a hindrance to our spiritual progress.
Every sin that we commit is deadly. The bible tells us in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Wrath is also one of the Works of The Flesh (see Galatians 5:19-21). Anytime you’re exemplifying the works of the flesh, you’re working against the Fruit of the Spirit. Read More→

Posted by: | CommentsIt’s very easy to fall into a mindset of worry and doubt in this day in time. With the economy being in the state that it is, it’s tough to keep a positive outlook on life.
Sometimes you may find it tough to count your blessings, so just as a reminder, below is a list of 5 things to be thankful for:
1) Be thankful for your health and strength.
God’s grace and mercy is amazing. He continues to wake us up every day, even when we don’t deserve it. Remember there is someone on their death bed or even worse, someone who didn’t wake up this morning. It sounds cliche but be thankful that you have legs to walk and a tongue to talk. No one is promised tomorrow. Read More→
