Posted by: | Comments (0)

Luke 6:22-23

22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. (KJV)

Do you look outside of yourself to other people or material things as a source of happiness? In other words, is your joy based on the circumstances around you? Read More→

The Purpose of Having A Vision

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Habakkuk 2:1-3 (KJV)
1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

I’m a great believer in setting goals and achieving them. I’m not one to just roll with the punches and accept whatever life brings my way.

No matter what comes your way you must Read More→

Let Go of The Idols In Your Life

Posted by: | Comments (1)

We live in a world today where technology is constantly on the rise. There is so much to captivate our attention that it’s getting harder to take out time to meditate on Word and pray like we should.

With cellphones, internet and television keeping us captivated, we find that our priorities are often out of place.

What are the priorities in life?

Priority is defined as – something given special attention.

Priorities are those things that we can’t sacrifice giving up in exchange for another thing or person. It’s those things that occupy most of our time. Read More→

Take The Right Road, Not The Wrong

Posted by: | Comments (3)

Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. (Psalm 119:133 NIV)

How often are you doing something and you get a feeling inside of you that you shouldn’t do what you’re doing? Many times we’re all guilty of taking the left road when we should be taking the right.

I believe that feeling inside of you is God trying to guide you on the right path. When we pray that God orders our steps, He answers but it’s up to us to tune into that frequency that God is operating on.

In other words, Read More→

Forgiveness Is A Must

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13 NIV)

Forgiveness is one of the ultimate traits that we all can bear. Although it’s not easy to forgive, it is a survival trait that we must have.

When you go through life with a spirit of unforgiveness, you take on the stress and hurt that a wrong-doer can transfer onto you.

When you forgive others that have done you wrong, you remove that burden off your shoulders and release the wrongful act that has been done to you. Also by forgiving, you’re saying Read More→

What Are Your Thoughts Like?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

The bible says so as a man thinketh, so is he. Your thoughts are a direct result of what you achieve in life.

Do you get discouraged and complain that you’ll never amount to what you want? You might say things like, “I’d love to have a house or car like that but that is out off my budget.”

Friends realize that we are the righteousness of God. God has granted His favor over your life. God is ready to make a move but He wants you to have the faith that with God on your side, you can achieve the impossible.

If you are sick, know that He is a healer. If the doctors diagnose you with a disease, don’t accept that as the final diagnoses. We know the ultimate doctor, the one who healed the sick and raised the dead.

He spoke to the winds and the waves and they obeyed. Therefore, there is nothing that God can’t do. Know that as long as God is on your side, nothing the enemy brings can come against you and your destiny. Read More→

Whose Battle Is It?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands. (1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV)

Life is full of choices. Everything you do whether it’s an addiction or a bad habit is the result of a choice that you made at one point or another.

There are many cross roads that you come to as you endeavor on your journey of life and you can choose to take the right road or the wrong road. Read More→

A wise man once said, “When looking for faults, use a mirror not a telescope.” This is a rule that we all can live by because when things go down, it’s so easy to point the finger to someone else.

Remember, when you point a finger at someone else, you have three fingers pointing back at you.

Do you find yourself pointing the blame when mistakes happen in your life? Mistakes are meant to be a tool for learning a lesson. If you never make mistakes, you will never learn. I believe, as long as you’re pointing the finger, Read More→

Activate Your Faith Today

Posted by: | Comments (1)

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20 NIV)

Is your faith in effect? Are you taking strides to achieve what God has called you to do?

Remember that all God wants is us to make a move and He will carry us the rest of the way. You may not know when or how, but remember that God is in the blessing business and in the right time, He will pour out more blessings than you have room to receive.

He’s got your best interest at heart. Prove to Him that Read More→

You Are Not Enslaved To Your Past

Posted by: | Comments (2)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (1 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)

You are not what you used to be. Today is a new day, yesterday has passed. No matter what you’ve done in your past, know that you are made new.

It says in 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV) “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”

Know today that you are not enslaved to your past. It’s up to you to acknowledge your sins, confess them and look towards the future. As long as you are Read More→
