And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: (Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV)
What are your expectations for life? God’s will for our life is that we live in abundance. The scripture tells us that if we keep His commandments, the Lord will make us the head and not the tail; and He’ll make us above and not beneath. Always know that God has something greater in store for you.
Don’t be comfortable living where you are. You should always strive to rise to a new level and dimension in your life.
God doesn’t want us to get settled, He wants us to know that through Him we can do all things. Remember that He wants to shower you with more blessings than you have room to receive.
Friends, God moves when we move. In other words, if you take a step out on faith, He’ll carry you the rest of the way.
Maybe you want to move into your dream home but you don’t see a way possible. You may say “Oh I don’t have the income right now, or I don’t have the down payment.” Well, just as an act of faith call the banks, call the real estate agents. Look for exactly what you want. Don’t settle forĀ a right now home. Expect that God is going to move on your behalf.
If you’re sick, and the doctors are giving you a bad diagnosis, you don’t have to accept what the doctors are telling you. Remember, Jesus is the ultimate doctor. He is described as a doctor in a sickroom and a lawyer in a courtroom.
There is nothing too hard for God, don’t accept defeat. When the world tells you that you can’t, and God tells you that you can, that is all that matters.
Friends, when you walk out the door in the morning, walk boldly and courageous and declare that great things are in store for you today. If you expect the best, God will provide the best for you. If you expect the worst, you are opening the door so that forces of darkness may come and wreak havoc in your life.
Expect the best and only the best today.
