Who Are You Listening To?
ByAre you listening to people around you giving you a million and one reasons why you can’t achieve what you’ve set out to do in life?
Refrain from listening to the naysayers. No matter what you do in life it is their objective to convince you that what you want to achieve is in no way possible.
Many times the naysayers will discourage you from your goals because they feel that they can’t achieve greatness in life.
It’s very easy to fall victim to negative talk from people around you when you’re going for your goals. Sometimes there are people who are looking out for our best interest and that’s different. However, for those who, no matter what you do they’re always trying to convince you why you shouldn’t do it or why it won’t work, tune out of their frequency and tune your ear into a higher frequency.
Friends I’m here to remind you that God has the final say so in your life.
If God promised you that it will come to pass, then it will indeed come to pass. It may not happen when we want it but God is always on time.
I’ll never forget when I enrolled into college, I was talking to some people about the exciting news and I realized that the response I got was not what I expected. They were pointing out negative instances of what they heard about my choice of college and why I shouldn’t go there.
At that moment, I chose to let what they were saying go in one ear and out the other. I didn’t let the negative talk change what I set out to do, or how I viewed my choice of school. Friends know when to tune out when people are trying to talk you out of what God has for you.
It all comes down to who you are listening to. It’s not about what the naysayers say but what God says about you that counts.
