Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. (Psalm 119:133 NIV)

How often are you doing something and you get a feeling inside of you that you shouldn’t do what you’re doing? Many times we’re all guilty of taking the left road when we should be taking the right.

I believe that feeling inside of you is God trying to guide you on the right path. When we pray that God orders our steps, He answers but it’s up to us to tune into that frequency that God is operating on.

In other words, simply be sensitive to where God is leading you. When you’re doing something and you get that feeling of uneasiness in the pit of your stomach. Always pay attention to that. It is God nudging you to change what you’re doing and do what’s right.

God deals with us differently today then He did back in the bible days. I’m reminded of the story of Moses and The Burning Bush and how God spoke to Moses through the Burning Bush. He commanded Moses to go back to Egypt and free the Children of Israel from bondage.

When you watch movies, they paint the picture that when God speaks, it sounds like a thunderous voice from Heaven.

Friends God deals with us in a different way. He’s not going to ring from the skies above and shout your name and tell you when you’re wrong, He’s more subtle.

God wants to guide us but often we are too busy to hear His voice. It says in Deuteronomy 13:18 KJV, “When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all His commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.”

Take time out and tune into the voice of the Lord. When you get home at the end of the day, try turning of the TV and the computer. When you are quiet and still, often times that is when God reveals the right path to take.

Do what is right today.
