Turn Your Mourning to Morning
Turn Your Mourning to Morning
By
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” – Psalms 30:5
In this life, you’re always going to face trials. The scripture basically says that although you may be weeping Joy is promised to us.
You can choose to wallow in your sorrows or choose to be happy during your trials but know that the end result is you win.
One thing that helps me is to make a mental list of all the things that I’m thankful for and make another list of all of the things that seem to be weighing me down. The thankful list always outweighs the other.
I’ve had situations where I would worry and get stressed out and when God pulled me through the situation I realized I was stressed over nothing. Now I have the satisfaction in knowing that no matter how dark the day, God has my best interest at heart.
Remember if God be for you, who can be against you. I have Joy in knowing that I am on the winning side.
When you are faced with trials, that is God’s way of testing you to see if you are strong enough for the next step in your life. The bible says to whom much is given much is required. God is looking at your heart and He wants to know if your faith is strong enough to sustain the next treasure.
When you were in school they didn’t say, go out and get the Job first, then come get your education. No, they wanted to know if you were worthy and knowledgeable. God puts us through a process in order to take us to the next level in life.
The bible says in Matthew 25:33 “You have been faithful with a few things, I will make you ruler over many.”
Make the choice to have Joy, it’s yours, the world didn’t give it to you and the world can’t take it away.
Keep your eyes on the end result. Always know that God knows what’s best for you. He wouldn’t put more on you than you can bear. In the end, you win and He will bring you out better than you were before.
