Rekindle Your Fire For Success

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Don’t loose the fire as you strive to achieve your goals in life. It’s very easy to start something and loose the momentum you had for it.

Friends, you are about to birth something magnificent. And just like a natural pregnancy, you have to go through stages to birth what you are destined to accomplish.

Remember, as a natural mother births a child, she doesn’t have the option of putting the child on the back burner. She must attend to the child and insure that the child is nurtured properly and that it fully develops into an adult.

What am I saying? I’m saying never let go of what you are passions in life. Here’s a question that you should ask yourself before you start something: Is this something that I’m passionate enough to carry through the rest of my life?

It’s just like a marriage, one must vow to the other that they will care for each other not only when they are well but when things are not so well. Read More→

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: (Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV)

What are your expectations for life? God’s will for our life is that we live in abundance. The scripture tells us that if we keep His commandments, the Lord will make us the head and not the tail; and He’ll make us above and not beneath. Always know that God has something greater in store for you.

Don’t be comfortable living where you are. You should always strive to rise to a new level and dimension in your life. Read More→

The Favor Of God Is Upon You

“So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16 NKJV)

The favor of the Lord is beyond comparison. There is no love out there that is like our God.

I was studying Matthew 20:1-16 and it describes the kingdom of heaven as a landowner who hired laborers for his vineyard. And the laborers entered into an agreement for a denarius a day.

After the agreement, the landowner sent the laborers into the vineyard. After the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace and sent them into the vineyard and told them whatever was right they will receive a denarius.

At the sixth, ninth and the eleventh hours, he went out into the marketplace and saw laborers standing idle and sent them into the vineyard also and told them whatever is right they will also receive a denarius.

At the end of the day, the landowner paid all of the laborers a denarius for the whole day’s work. However, the laborers Read More→

Grab Hold of Your Harvest

Posted by: | Comments (1)

We are well into the harvest season and God is waiting on the right opportunity to bless you. I dare you to reach up by faith and grab your harvest.

Your harvest is promised to you. It may not be tangible right now but know that God will pour out more blessings than you have room to receive.

I looked up the definition of harvest on the web and it is defined as “crop: the yield from plants in a single growing season.”

It is also defined as “the season for gathering crops.” When I think of a harvest I also think of the season where crops are plentiful as a result of the rain. Read More→

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)

As the thanksgiving holiday approaches, remember to be thankful for the simple things in life. Just as easy as everything was given to you it can be taken away. Take time out to show love and appreciation to someone in need today.

Sometimes it’s easy to get in a state of looking at the glass as half empty and complaining about what we don’t have. Remember, it could always be worse. Friends, remember God has our best interest at heart.

Know that the favor of God is upon you. As gracious as God is to us, He doesn’t ask for much in return except that we Read More→

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV)

You should aspire to set an example for those who are influential in your life. Many times when we’re fellowshipping with close friends, we are either following another person’s example or leading by example.

When you’re following another person’s example, you are like a five year old who is soaking up all of the energy within it’s environment. However, when you’re leading by example you have a very powerful position. Read More→

Who Are You Listening To?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Are you listening to people around you giving you a million and one reasons why you can’t achieve what you’ve set out to do in life?

Refrain from listening to the naysayers. No matter what you do in life it is their objective to convince you that what you want to achieve is in no way possible.

Many times the naysayers will discourage you from your goals because they feel that they can’t achieve greatness in life.

It’s very easy to fall victim to negative talk from people around you when you’re going for your goals. Sometimes there are people who are looking out for our best interest and that’s different. However, for those who, no matter what you do they’re always trying to convince you why you shouldn’t do it or why it won’t work, tune out of their frequency and tune your ear into a higher frequency. In my previous blog, The Purpose of Having a Vision, I talked about why it’s important to have a vision. The bible teaches us that without a vision the people perish.

Sometimes while were waiting for the vision to come to pass it often becomes difficult because we loose patience in the interim of waiting .

At this point in time it’s up to us to walk in faith until we receive our ultimate reward from God. Victory is yours but you have to claim it and speak it into existence.

We find ourselves listening to what the people around us are saying instead of listening to what God is saying. I dare you to tune out of the frequency of what the nay sayers are saying and tune into the frequency of what God is saying.

Friends be encouraged because if the Lord promised it, then it will come to pass. Remember, the scripture says though the vision tarry, wait for it. It will come to pass.

It may seem like you’ll never reach your point of victory but I’m reminded of a great song that says “He may not come when we want Him but He’s right on time,” know that God is an on time God. Read More→

An affirmation is something that you repeat over and over to yourself whether it’s a good thought or a bad thought. As I’ve stated in previous articles, there is power in the thoughts that you think. Our thoughts are based on our habits and what we are preconditioned to think.

Maybe you were raised in a negative environment and your parents raised you to think that you would never amount to anything. Maybe they didn’t say it directly but their actions communicated that you weren’t worthy of achieving greatness in your life.

Friends, know that negative thoughts are almost directly connected to our emotions and the way we feel. When you wake up in the morning, start the day off with a positive prayer.

Talk to God and thank Him for simply waking you. You should be thankful that you do have the mind of Christ. No matter what the enemy brings your way, declare greatness and prosperity over yourself. Read More→
