Know Who You Are and Whose You Are

Know Who You Are and Whose You Are

By Jarrod Clark
Hi, welcome back! I hope you enjoy this post. Don't forget to comment, thanks!

John 15:15 (NIV) says; I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know His master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Do you know who you are and whose you are?

Studies show that as we grow, we don’t truly develop a true sense of self until we reach our 20’s and 30’s. Some people can go their whole life and still have no clue of who they are?

The scripture says that we are a Friend of God, not just servants. Therefore, we have been justified through Christ.

Romans 8:30 says; Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.

Because you have been justified, no man on earth can condemn you.

What an amazing thing to be called a Friend of God because you have favor in the Lord and that is all that matters.

It’s time to stand boldly and walk upright and realize who we are in Christ. When you come face to face with a challenge, stand tall, lift your head up and put your shoulders back and claim that you are an overcomer.

Have the confidence in knowing that, because you’ve been predestined, there is no problem or task that you can’t conquer.
The Holy Land Experience Theme Park - Moses parting the Red Sea

Moses and the Children of Israel reached the Red Sea and they saw no way across. At that moment Pharoah and his army were behind them plotting an attack.

Moses could have easily gave into self doubt. However, he looked to the Lord boldly and as he stretched out his rod, the Lord provided a way for them to cross the Red Sea.

When you are faced with a Red Sea experience that you don’t know how to conquer, remember whose you are. Remember that you have been justified. And just like Moses and the Children of Israel, the Lord will see you through your Red Sea.

If God be for us, who can be against us.
